Om "kirker mod fattigdom"
"Kirker mod fattigdom" er et projekt under Dansk Diakoniråd og Folkekirkens mellemkirkelige Råd i forbindelse med det europæiske år2010 for bekæmpelse af fattigdom og social eksklusion.
Projektets formål er at nå ud til menigheder, menighedsråd og kirkelige foreninger med formidling om fattigdom og social udstødelse i et kristent og diakonalt perspektiv.
The project "Churches against poverty" is initiated by the Danish Diaconal Council and the Council on International Relations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark in relation to the EUs 2010 focus year on combating poverty and social exclusion.
The aim of the project is to reach parishes, parish councils and Christian organisations in Denmark with information on poverty and social exclusion seen from a Christian/diaconal perspective and with a special focus on the church as an inclusive fellowship; and to engage churches in responding to challenges in the parish.
